If you need to contact The Narrator, all you need to do is call out for him and he will appear in your proximity within a few moments. You don't need to worry about whether he heard you or not; he hears you.

[After Oswald looks up from glancing at the film reel, he'll find The Narrator sitting in his usual spot. He looks a little more confused than normal.]

It's a little early to be calling me again. Did something happen?

[It definitely wasn't a murder because he would already know about that.]

[He still jumps a little. As he looks at the Narrator, he's... obviously not as pleased to see him as he was before, but there's still something else on his mind.]

...No, not at all. I was just wondering if I could ask for something.

Sure, what did you want to ask me?

[forgottenfounder]

...I was wondering if you could get something for me. A film projector. One that can play this reel.

[keyofimagination]

Already asking for more out of me, I see.

[... That was supposed to be a joke, but with his even tone it is impossible to tell.

After a pause, he looks over at the film reel.]

A movie of yours?

[forgottenfounder]

[Honestly, it's tough to tell, so he'll take it as serious statement.

Oswald sighs, nodding.]

Yeah, it's one of my old cartoons. Apparently it came out of that penny press of yours.

[He pauses to think this over.]

You realize this is a larger request than the normal ones I accept of this nature.

I know. I'm pretty aware that you can totally deny this request.

[He's kind of anticipating this. Don't worry, he's used to disappointment.]

I can, but I think I'll be able to make an exception for you. It's going to take awhile, but it's not out of my capabilities.

... However, just so you're aware, the projector here can't be used as a mode of transportation.

[As he said, he knows about your world.]

It wasn't my first thought, but I guess I should've expected that, huh?

You really just wanted something to watch then?

[He looks amused as he says this.]

Escaping was an option, let's put it like that.

[Then again, who knows where a projector from here would let him out?]

But what's the point of a cartoon if you can't watch it?

I'll see if I can get a projector by the end of the week. If it takes longer than that, I'll let you know.
