If you need to contact The Narrator, all you need to do is call out for him and he will appear in your proximity within a few moments. You don't need to worry about whether he heard you or not; he hears you.

Comments are screened for privacy. After all, what narrator would go around revealing everyone's secrets?

[A wave of relief seems to wash over him.]

I have to warn you, it's going to be hard to get everyone out of here, even if my employer never catches onto anything.

Don't thank me just yet, we're still stuck here. [As far as he's concerned, he can be thanked when they're both alive and out of here.

Then again, the relief on Rod's face is almost contagious.]

Your employer... is there anything we have to worry about from them?

[He looks thoughtful for a moment.]

About everything. My employer is powerful, and if I don't fell safe with Walt, I am sure my employer would try killing us all if we tried to escape. And that's only if they're feeling merciful if they catch us.

However, our relationship has been strained from the moment I agreed to be the host. I am sure that they would go after me before any of you.

[forgottenfounder]

[...Gulp. There's that anxiety again. He doesn't miss this.]

Wow... Just, who are they? The monsters running this crazy show.

...I'm afraid it was a part of our agreement to not delve into specifics about them. I would rather not parish before our plan has gone off the ground.

Alright, then... what do we do? What am I supposed to do to help?

Finding weapons would be a start. Something to protect yourself and everyone else once the opportunity is right.

[There is a pause before he continues.]

I will have to gather information for how to get you out, but I think I have an idea of how we could escape.

[forgottenfounder]

Weapons... maybe the knives in the kitchen? Or maybe I could put something together... [But with what. There's not nearly enough parts around here for anything. Even Gus would have problems with this.]

Oh... what I wouldn't give for Mickey to be here. His brush would makes this much easier.

[He frowns slightly at the mention of Mickey.]

I'm sure his brush would have been taken away regardless. You should be well aware by now that they don't want escape to be easy.

I mean, if we had it at all, it would be really useful.

[But they don't. Hmm.]

If we knew how to escape, I could try and work towards making something for it.

[The Narrator murmurs something to himself. Oswald can't make out all of it but there are mentions of "exit".]

I think... the biggest obstacle you have right now is doing all of this without my employer noticing. I know that's a lot to ask out of you, but if you feel up to the challenge...

...Keep everything under wraps, huh?

[He can just shrug, like they're not worrying about their lives being at stake.]

Well, I have been hiding this whole job from everyone else.

[Look at least he's being open as to why he wants this to be a covert mission.]

I fear that telling this now could put us under danger, but my employer is usually hands off... Maybe we could use that to our advantage.

Sure. In that case, unless something screwy happens, we should be alright with things as they are.

[...He rubs his brow a bit.]

[Notice him Oswald senpai.]

Hope might be the only thing we have right now.

[He turns to Oswald.]

I do want to thank you again for agreeing to all of this. I wouldn't have blamed you if I scared you off last week.

Hope was the only thing I had for a while. I'm used to it.

Look, I'm... I had trouble trusting people before. A while back, I even considered betraying someone I just got to know for... [He shakes his head.] It's not important. The point is, I learned I should give people a chance... even if I didn't like them at first.

It's an admirable trait you have. I wish more people would be willing to forgive those they don't trust at first.

It's nothing special, I just figure that people deserve a second chance.

[If he can forgive the Mouse that took everything from him, why can't others be forgiven?
