If you need to contact The Narrator, all you need to do is call out for him and he will appear in your proximity within a few moments. You don't need to worry about whether he heard you or not; he hears you.

Comments are screened for privacy. After all, what narrator would go around revealing everyone's secrets?

[...He's not even all that surprised anymore. He just shuts the door behind him and marches over. Good thing that they're both looking tired.]

...Yeah? Sorry for what? I'm sure your bosses are getting what they want.

[He hauls himself onto the bed, looking somewhat hesitantly at the tea before hearing what The Narrator says, and decides to leave it be for the moment.]

[He sits back down in his usual spot.]

But it's not them I'm worried about.

So, you're worried about me?

[He sits as well. They seem to have worked out a system here.]

[There is a long pause before he speaks again.]

...Oswald, there's something I've been wanting to do, but I know I can't do this alone.

[forgottenfounder]

[Oswald looks contemplative, even a little curious...]

...Really? Well... what is it?

I want to get you all out of here. While there's still a chance.

[forgottenfounder]

[....Excuse Oswald as he goes over to his cup of tea, tends to it momentarily, takes a careful sip... and then spits it out.]

You... are you serious?! You're not trying to pull my leg, are ya?

I have no reason to joke about something like this.

You really want to... get all of us out of here? ...Why?

[He's honestly very curious, and not in a mean-spirited way.]

I am well aware of how terrible this whole situation is. I've tried holding out, but I don't think I can just stand buy and watch innocent people get slaughtered for much longer.

[forgottenfounder]

... [For a moment, it looks like Oswald is going to be angry at him... but it passes as his shoulders slump.]

The fact that you're saying that... makes me want to believe you.

[It makes sense, all of it does.]

It does make things more convenient. If I had a choice, I wouldn't try roping you into this. However, I fear that no matter what I say at this point, everyone will think I'm trying to trick them.

[He's talking about you, Belle.]

[Gosh, Belle. Geeze...]

...Well, yeah, that make sense. [Hmmph.]

Listen, if you really wanna get everyone out of here, then I'm right behind you, every step of the way.

I can't thank you enough for this, Oswald.

[A wave of relief seems to wash over him.]

I have to warn you, it's going to be hard to get everyone out of here, even if my employer never catches onto anything.

Don't thank me just yet, we're still stuck here. [As far as he's concerned, he can be thanked when they're both alive and out of here.

Then again, the relief on Rod's face is almost contagious.]

Your employer... is there anything we have to worry about from them?

[He looks thoughtful for a moment.]

About everything. My employer is powerful, and if I don't fell safe with Walt, I am sure my employer would try killing us all if we tried to escape. And that's only if they're feeling merciful if they catch us.

However, our relationship has been strained from the moment I agreed to be the host. I am sure that they would go after me before any of you.

[forgottenfounder]

[...Gulp. There's that anxiety again. He doesn't miss this.]

Wow... Just, who are they? The monsters running this crazy show.

...I'm afraid it was a part of our agreement to not delve into specifics about them. I would rather not parish before our plan has gone off the ground.

[forgottenfounder]

[...Yeah, trying that was probably dumb.]

Alright, then... what do we do? What am I supposed to do to help?

Finding weapons would be a start. Something to protect yourself and everyone else once the opportunity is right.

[There is a pause before he continues.]

I will have to gather information for how to get you out, but I think I have an idea of how we could escape.

[forgottenfounder]

Weapons... maybe the knives in the kitchen? Or maybe I could put something together... [But with what. There's not nearly enough parts around here for anything. Even Gus would have problems with this.]

Oh... what I wouldn't give for Mickey to be here. His brush would makes this much easier.

[He frowns slightly at the mention of Mickey.]

I'm sure his brush would have been taken away regardless. You should be well aware by now that they don't want escape to be easy.

I mean, if we had it at all, it would be really useful.

[But they don't. Hmm.]

If we knew how to escape, I could try and work towards making something for it.
